Job Description:

As a warehouse materials handler, this role will be responsible for working internally with our clinical customers and fulfilling clinical supplies.

  • Establish, inventory and replenish adequate supply levels, including exchange and parcarts to support daily activities for nursing and ancillary departments.
  • Documents all supply replenishment performed enter issues/ credits, patient care equipment and charges.
  • Processes patient and supply charges for interfacing and dayclose activities
  • Monitors, rotates, removes and documents all outdated and overstocked supplies, checking for any damage to items.
  • Enters supply replenished par level forms, including par, Pyxis inventory, or exchange carts to support daily activities for nursing and ancillary departments.
  • Verifies inventory and control levels for all nursing and schedules ancillary departments.
  • Physically stocks, and pick needed supplies for delivery to nursing and ancillary departments.
  • Promotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, and abides by service behavior standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need.
  • May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.


Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required

Physical Requirements:

  • Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing.
  • Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
  • See and read computer monitors and documents.
  • Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
  • May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
