Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking an IT Manager at our West Chester, Ohio office. The IT Manager is responsible and accountable for planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects and tasks within multiple Plant applications.This person would lead a staff of IT professionals responsible to support and enhance current systems as well as develop new applications. They would need to be familiar with agile methodologies and how to incorporate them within their teams and business areas. This hands-on position will report to our Director IT Steel operations and be part of Steel operations IT applications management group located in West Chester, OH.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement and coordinate system changes.
• Drive adherence to policies and procedures while ensuring systems are efficient and secure.
• Identify problematic areas, provide input to strategic plans and implement strategic solutions.
• Manage by training and coaching team members, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.
• Experience in gathering requirements using interviews, document analysis, scenarios, analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
• Drive use of Agile Methodologies and common practices especially scrums and sprints.
• Display personal characteristics such as self-motivation, dependability, confidence, trust, and flexibility.
• Demonstrate collaboration skills to foster effective working relationships with the team and customers.
• Evaluate and interview job candidates.
• Evaluate team member performance and providing feedback as well as coaching and recommendations.
• Deliver business transformation projects and drive culture change.
• Manage projects and work activities, strong ability to prioritize and work with business users as needed.
• Contribute to Budget Planning, RFQ & SOW development as well as Vendor relationship management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business (MIS) or related discipline.
• Knowledge and understanding of mainframe, VMS and web based systems and architecture.
• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology within a manufacturing organization.
• 5+ years of experience in IT management/team lead.
• 5+ years of experience in project management and common methodologies.
• 5+ years of experience in a custom development environment
• 3+ years of experience in audit related activities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience implementing strategic initiatives
• Experience developing and implementing Organizational growth programs.
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written, and presentation skills.
• Experience with RFQ development and SOW development, Vendor management.
• 2+ years in practicing agile techniques.
