Description

NaphCare is currently hiring Licensed Mental Health Professionals (LCSWs, LMHCs, LMFTs, LPCs, etc.) just like you at the Mesa County Detention located in Grand Junction, CO. Day Shifts, Night Shifts, PRN Shifts, and 8-13 week contracts are available. Pay rates range from $27.74-$36.00 per hour based on type of license, certification, Shift, FT, PRN, temporary contract, site needs, licensure, and experience.

Position Description:

  • Masters prepared candidate with active, unrestricted licensure as a (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, etc.)
  • 1 year experience preferred
  • Perform and document mental health evaluations, progress notes, individual and group counseling notes and suicide watch notes
  • Coordinate with healthcare and security staff regarding patients' mental health care and release dates
  • Participate in educational and training activities related to mental health care for patients, security personnel, and healthcare staff
  • Demonstrate knowledge of DSM-V / DSM-V-TR criteria
